The Best Details of Residence Hall Living

While there are plenty of options when it comes to where you're going to live while you're going to college, we believe the best choice you could possibly make is to live in a residence hall. If you're going to be attending Brooklyn College, then it's probably no surprise to you that we believe your best option is the Residence Hall @ Brooklyn College. One of the reasons we have for that belief is all the amenities you'll enjoy as a resident here. We're going to take a look at some of those perks in this article. In the end, we think you'll agree that those amenities add up to a mountain of great reasons to live with us.

Some of the perks of living at the Residence Hall are actually outside of the building itself. One of them is the fact that there are security cameras positioned around the perimeter of the building. Along with the security measures we take inside the building itself, these help to create a situation where you can feel just as safe as you would in your home. Another perk of life here that exists outside the building is our courtesy shuttle to Brooklyn College.

Let's step inside the building. The amenities associated with life at Residence Hall exist both  inside the rooms themselves, as well as in the rest of the building. Inside the rooms themselves, one of the best perks is that all your utilities are included in your license fee! That includes your cable television and wireless high speed internet access. You'll also appreciate the fact that your rooms are fully furnished as soon as you move in. You'll have the option of private or shared bathrooms, and there are kitchenettes in every unit. You even get individually controlled air conditioning and heat!

Let's take a look at the rest of the building. For starters, we should mention that there's a security guard in the lobby twenty-four hours a day. After four in the afternoon, you'll have to show your building identification to get buzzed in. That way, you can rest easy, knowing that the only people that are in the building are people that are supposed to be there. Of course, you can have guests, you just have to let the office know in advance. Also, there are study areas, fitness rooms, and lounges available for your use, as well as on site laundry facilities. You get all the comforts of home... and more!

Not only will you be experiencing all the comforts of home, but as you've seen, you'll be experiencing additional safety. What's more, you'll be saving yourself some money as well! About the only more economical option would be to stay with some relatives who live near the campus. Of course, if you want to experience the sense of community that's such a memorable part of so many people's college years, then we invite you to come and join us at the Residence Hall @ Brooklyn College.
