The Perks of Life in a Residence Hall

Perhaps you've already compared living in a residence hall to some of your other college housing options and decided that you're interested in finding out more. If that's the case, then this article is for you. Besides the fact that it's generally more affordable and independent than most of your other options, there are also several other perks associated with residence hall living. To some students, some of these perks are worth the price of admission all by themselves. You'll get them all. We're going to look at the amenities specific to the Residence Hall @ Brooklyn college. We'll look at the rooms themselves, and then we'll look at the rest of the building.

As far as the rooms themselves, the ones at the Residence Hall @Brooklyn College have a lot to offer. For starters, each of the rooms is fully furnished. That alone makes them superior to most apartments. There's also a microwave, a kitchenette, and a refrigerator already there! You'll also have the option of either private or shared bathrooms, as well as individually controlled air conditioning and heat. All of the rooms in the building, include utilities as well as  cable television and wireless, high speed internet access! You'll truly be enjoying all the comforts of home.

When it comes to the perks that are associated with living at the Residence Hall @ Brooklyn College, they certainly aren't confined to your own room. The rest of the building boasts plenty of amenities, too. For example, there are plenty of communal meeting and study rooms available for your use at no extra charge. In addition, there are on site fitness and laundry facilities. There are even lounges where you can relax with your friends! These are the kinds of things you just aren't going to find in most apartment complexes. You also won't be able to enjoy these types of amenities living at home with your parents.

But wait, there's more! The Residence Hall @ Brooklyn College also offers courtesy shuttles to the campus. That way, you won't have to provide your own transportation to and from school. In addition to courtesy shuttles, there are also courtesy patrols. There is a security guard on duty twenty-four hours a day, and there are security cameras around the perimeter of the building (and in the common areas). So, while you're experiencing all of the amenities we've talked about in this article, you'll be doing so in an environment that's as safe as your very own home.

In summary, the benefits and perks you get when you live in the Residence Hall @ Brooklyn College are second to none. In your room, regardless of which particular floor plan you select, you get all of the perks listed above. Plus, you will also be enjoying some benefits that are less tangible. For example, because the rules governing life in a residence hall are more relaxed that the rules in a dorm, you will experience a greater sense of independence. Though you will find your license fee affordable, you will find the memories you make while living here absolutely priceless.
